Summary:- At Enterprise Business Intelligence Technology (EBIT), our missions is to provide cost-effective, end-to-end business intelligence platform and development solutions across the firm. It is our goal to be the service provider of choice.
- This position plays a key role in the initiatives above. The position works closely together with both business and technology partners across the enterprise, in addition to serving as the point of contact for multiple subject areas. In particular, the position has experience writing enterprise policies. The individual has a can do mindset with ability to liaise with others, collect information, research, and turn it into documentation or actions.
- Leads a large project or multiple projects that are significant in scope and impact. Works independently, with limited direction, and is evaluated through end results. Initiates and provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input on all information technology and client/business area issues and in the development of an IT environment which meets current and anticipated business requirements and objectives. Participates with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal IT management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests. Provides the client areas with technology products and service alternatives that improve the IT service delivery process.
- The Engagement and Transition Team is accountable for leading the Enterprise Business Intelligence Technology client engagement effort by identifying opportunities to refine our day-to-day processes with a customer-centric mindset. The team currently has 3 core functions:
- Client Engagement - Understand business requirement and provide recommendation on reporting tools and project details.
- -Seamless integration with core platforms work closely with client and respective peer teams to ensure a smooth transition and development cycle between reporting platforms
- Platform Selection - Define platform comparison matrix.
- Website Development - Work closely with development team to design team and platform websites, author contents, testing result. Act as a product owner role in multiple Agile teams.
- Define Partner with Enterprise Data Management to define Business Intelligence specified usage policies
- Action Implement policies across all platforms and tenants
- Understand Enterprise Processes - Document EARC process and understand technology product lifecycle.
- Define Internal Procedures Brainstorm and document internal EBIT operating procedures to vet product for company use
- Governance - Collect platform information from stakeholders and determine the best course of action for each platform per internal procedures
- Onboarding - Provide proposal and work with business for transition plan
- Minimum of 7+ years total technology support experience, with specific experience in the Business Intelligence domain
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and can author comprehensive documentation, ability to translate key technical concepts into layman's terms
- Creative and ability to eye quality products in websites and PowerPoint
- customer focus with outstanding interpersonal/relationship building skills
- Demonstrated experience in developing, aligning, socializing, monitoring, adapting, and delivering strategies in dynamic, rapidly changing environments
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
- Plus: familiarity of enterprise architecture (EARC), governance, and policy creation
- Policy/Technical writing, program management, communication
