Position Summary:Financial regulation for banks has increased dramatically over the past few years.This role is to work on the Global Markets Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) Data Delivery program, an initiative to define and implement consistent and efficient regulatory reporting processes that adhere to enterprise standards, simplify controls and enable re-use.Role Summary:As a Technical Business Analyst, the candidate will participate in all phases of the data delivery/transformation program - from business analysis to writing sourcing scripts, leveraging an SQL like query language. Responsibilities include: • Analyzing data flow and data sets from upstream applications• Developing scripts (SQL like) to generate data sets and outputs required for specific NFRR reports• Supporting testing of the data sets against requirementsRequired Skills:• 5+ years data or development experience• Experience with SQL•Ability to perform detailed and complex data analysis• Attention to detail and ability to work independently• Ability to handle tight deadlines, and competing demands in a fast paced environmentDesired Skills:• Experience on regulatory or reporting projects, preferred• Experience with Scala and Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS), a plus• Experience with databases, preferred• Knowledge of Global Markets' products/asset classes and associated data including fixed income, equities, derivatives, and foreign exchange securities, preferredBank of America's Global Banking and Markets Technology Organization.- Believes diversity makes us stronger so we can reflect, connect and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the world.
