Enterprise Automation Sales Specialists (Ansible)

Piper Companies is seeking an Remote Automation SDET for one of our customers. This position will play a primary role in executing all aspects of Quality and Testing for a sprint team. The role requires hands-on QA expertise, flexibility, and experience in both manual and automated testing. The right candidate will be able to work with engineering teams to write and execute tests.

Job Summary North America Public Sector (NAPS) team is looking for an Enterprise Automation Specialist to expand and evangelize Red Hat's Ansible Automation Platform portfolio. In this role, you will work with customers to modernize and drive enterprise automation capabilities into their environments, improving efficiency, increasing productivity, controlling risk and reducing cost. Primary Job Responsibilities • Drive revenue growth of Ansible Automation Platform • Work with enterprise sales account teams to build account strategies and promote the overall automation strategy • Strong leadership ability to influence, manage, motivate and organize people effectively to achieve business targets • Evangelize emerging concepts such as GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, network and security automation, and enterprise automation practices • Deliver presentations at key industry and Red Hat events to relevant audiences • Conduct competitive analyses of both commercial offerings and open source projects • Demonstrated ability to navigate real-world challenges that accompany enterprise-wide technology initiatives. • Work with customers, account teams, partners, and marketers to create compelling stories and case studies • Passionate about helping organizations reimagine the future of work and workforce experience. • Evangelize benefits of adopting open standards within core vertical business solutions. • Facilitate organizational and workforce transformation, customer and employee experience and human-centered design. • Build strategic relationships with C-level executives and key business leaders Required skills Background selling complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology environment • 5+ years of field technical sales experience supporting infrastructure and datacenter solutions in an enterprise setting • 3+ years of experience in a technical architecture role • 2+ years of experience with automation platforms like Chef, Puppet or Ansible AND technical experience with networking, storage, compute or ServiceNow. • Practical experience with GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and DevOps approaches • Proven understanding of what it takes to motivate technical audiences and an ability to translate that understanding into revenue • Charismatic with excellent presentation skills and the ability to energize and excite technical audiences while demonstrating expertise in our offerings • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executives at large companies • Ability to sell solutions in a multiproduct environment, inclusive of partner technologies • Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers • Ability to maintain a balance of strategic and tactical skills • Record of working closely with customers to deliver solutions that exceed business and technical expectations
