Welcome to Bosch!Job DescriptionWe seek an experienced Customer & Industry Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Communications department in Charlotte, NC. With a mindset on Factory Automation solutions, the person in this position will focus on driving awareness for Factory Automation solutions by creating and executing marketing programs that build consideration, drive sell-through, and increase customer loyalty and retention. The position has a strong emphasis on end user customer and industry marketing. The focus of this position is on both traditional and eCommerce activities.The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Uses a multi-technology approach, working closely with our sales teams and key technology marcom specialists to integrate solution messaging for marketing campaigns by industry and cascade content to the individual account level using both broad inbound and specific ABM principles.

For industry marketing, serves as the owner for developing and executing the industry vertical marketing strategy that drives awareness and consideration for Factory Automation solutions to customers and prospects based on business goals. Works with the agency to select media, write and issue press releases, industry relevant content and collateral development online and offline, social posts, and other marketing media as needed.

For customer marketing, serves as the key person responsible to define marketing strategies aimed at 1:Many, 1:Few and/or 1:1 marketing programs that drive the personalized customer journey from interest/consideration all the way through purchase and re-engagement for value adds, services, upsells, retrofits. Includes all marketing writing, creative direction, content, and other marketing media as needed.

Day-to-day support for internal and external customer marketing requests. Directs the production and fulfillment of sales collateral, powerpoints, technical catalogs, customer case studies, customer-centric events.

Aligns with corporate marketing to ensure product and brand marketing priorities and relevant content are integrated into communications with consistency.

Responsible for industry market research, voice of customer research, in-depth knowledge of go-to-market strategy by competitors for each relevant industry and overall Factory Automation approach.

Develops ideal customer profiles, customer personas, and customer and industry value propositions development to inform sales and corporate marketing.

Supports sales meetings with key customers regularly to understand the segment and channel needs. Works with key account development managers to develop and execute sell-in concepts and communications. Ensures regional and territory alignment in approach to customer and industry marketing.

Coordinates all marketing for customer-related and industry-related events, activities and meetings, such as roadshows and Factory Automation showrooms/experience centers. Coordinates with live events team for logistics.

Supports the administration of business unit sales CRM actions as necessary.

QualificationsRequirements of the job:Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Strategy, MBA a plus.

Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Channel or Customer Marketing or Sales role dealing with multi-tier customer models.

High degree of knowledge with Inbound and ABM marketing principles including experience with marketing automation strategies.

Experience with Adobe Connect or other large scale virtual meeting hosting platforms.

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, Aftereffects, etc).

Experience with marketing on LinkedIn and promotions on other social platforms.

Depth of knowledge of and demonstrated utilization of ecommunication platforms such as Hubspot and Mailchimp.

Knowledge of and experience in marketing automation workflows, content strategy, privacy rules, connectivity of databases.

Working knowledge of content management and social scheduling tools such as Percolate.

Advanced experience managing marketing for inn-person and/or virtual experential products such as showrooms and roadshows.

Excellent communication skills, including phone and email communications.

Experience with sales prospecting using D&B Hoovers, Linkedin Sales Navigator.

Experience in SAP CRM or other sales analysis skills highly desirable.

Strong technical marketing writing, sales writing, customer presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.

High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Organized, detail-oriented, competent follow-through skills.

Ability to exercise good judgment/decision making when necessary.

Ability to anticipate problems and act accordingly.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Ability to take initiative, solve problems, act with sense of urgency with assertiveness and confidence.
