- This position is for a DevOps engineer role.
- Collaborate with application development teams and proactively provide operational assistance they need for their feature delivery
- Will also responsible for integration/packaging of vendor software for distribution to ATM terminals.
- Process takes software packages from multiple vendors, making these deliveries available for automated testing and developers through CICD.
- Candidate will have a strong DevOps background that can engage at both a thought leadership and execution level.
- Managing branching of code, continuous build, test and deploy processes
- Support Pre-prod and production environments
- Troubleshoot build and deploy failures, and facilitate resolution
- Improve speed, efficiency and scalability of the continuous integration environment
- Communicate status frequently to technology partners
- 3-5+ years as a DevOps Engineer background
- 5+ years of strong experience with Middleware including Web sphere, JBOSS, Apache,HTTP.
- Strong experience with Jenkins and BitBucket
- Strong experience using Ansible (preferred will consider candidates w/ Chef and Puppet background.)
- Expertise in PowerShell scripting (preferred) will consider candidates w/ Python scripting background as well.
- Experience with build and deploy support in a large, corporate environment – preferably within financial industry.
- Team player that likes to work closely with Support, Development, and Engineering groups.
- Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively across various business and technical groups.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationship
- Experience with VMWare ESX
- Windows installation experience
- Experience in a SAFe environment
- Banking experience
