Massage Therapist Wanted

Carmen's Healing Art Center is looking for a Massage Therapist to work 2-5 weekdays, 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and one weekend day or night shift if you are working more than 2 days. You could also just choose weekends if you just want that money and want weekdays off, who knows. Could be open to you not working on a weekend day if that doesn't work for you. We can discuss. As I have recently returned to the field I would like to hire a therapist to handle the influx of new clients and regulars-since the state mandates and restrictions for massage therapy have been lifted. You can pick the amount of massages you'd like to do in a day. I'm not looking for a massage robot. I am looking for someone is comfortable doing 3 or more massages a day. I can fill your schedule with whatever it is you are looking to do.

This is a growing company and you will be doing a checkout and re-book on a tablet. I'm impressed with myself on how seamless I've made this process, ha ha!

Pay:

Based on experience.

There are also bonus incentives to pay based on add on sales, re-book bonus.

It's a passion of mine to provide good jobs as my business is expanding. I've been doing the business thing since highschool. I know it's weird but really love to provide not just a job but a good job. I'm well organized and love creating this thing and impacting the community in a positive way!

My requirements are:

A current licence from NC and liability insurance which is very affordable and I can help you navigate that if you do not already have it.

My expectations:

To follow CDC and State guidelines for cleaning.

We also take temperature for incoming clients.

They do receive a pre-screening questionnaire for Covid and other common intake questions.

I provide all laundry services as well as any lotions and materials you will need.

You will do client intake, massage, soft sales-more on asking them to come back and telling them about our membership, cleaning up after each massage and re-booking clients-this makes you money and you get to build relationships with your clients. This is an Asheville business we are helping our community. This is not corporate. We offer a great service, people come back, we are helping people with chronic pain and stress management. Time Off:

You can take time off, make your own schedule and decide how long you want your breaks to be and even block off your schedule if you need 'self-care' days, etc. However you will probably be booked up so be prepared to work hours you decide on.

Here is what I am looking for:

You are responsible.

You can retain clients, get good reviews and re-book your own clients.

You are detail oriented by paying attention to the needs of clients as well as cleanliness.

Loyalty is important.

You are able to report any client misconduct for example: sexual advances or maybe just be clear about anyone you are serving that you are uncomfortable with in any way. Be able to report this type of thing to me.

You will be treated with kindness and respect and treat all clients in this way. This is a part time position but can turn into full time if that is what you are wanting.

Work Schedule:

It's important to be clear about times and days you want to work. If you need time off or anticipate you need a day off let me know in advance. Minimum work schedule is two days per week. Therapist that are looking for full time need to work one weekend day. Look forward to meeting you! We can start with a 20-30 minute Zoom interview-then schedule practicum if we feel this is a good fit. Please wear a mask when we meet for the practicum. The office is located on the edge of downtown parking is available.

Last but not least-it's standard to get to work 30 minutes before your first appointment to get everything set, towels ready, lights on etc. However you do not need to be there if a massage is not scheduled. Because I want to pay you when you are working and when you show up!
