Dog Care Kennel Tech

Part Time leading to Full Time for reliable candidate that demonstrates conscientious care of animals. Morning shift 7AM-12PM, weekdays and weekends. Small, quiet facility, enjoyable work environment.

Job description: Walk dogs on a leash, feed, water, and clean sleeping areas. Follow specific walking, feeding and care requirements for each dog. Keep all doors, gates, and latches closed at all times. Clean common areas, wash dishes, and fold laundry. Bathe and dry dogs as needed. Additional cleaning and care duties as required. Grooming/bathing training and obedience training is offered after 3 months employment. Pay raise is $1/hr for each month of perfect attendance, up to four raises in the first year of employment, so you are in control your salary.

Requirements: Must be able to hold a strong dog on a leash, bend, squat, stoop, walk, climb stairs, scrub, clean, restrain dogs, stand for long periods of time, and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
