DescriptionTHE ROLE:Hillrom’s vision of Advancing Connected Care™ extends across our entire portfolio, and with the acquisition of Videomed (https://www.videomed.biz/en/) in July 2020 we will be able to provide a fully integrated operating room experience for surgical teams. Videomed’s Truelink 4 hardware and software offers operating room integration (ORI) for the integration of multiple devices, allowing connectivity of many Hillrom products, while also allowing for external communication between physicians, students, post-op patients, etc. Truelink 4 provides compact and powerful technical capabilities in OR integration systems; combines advanced solutions in OR videomanagement with innovative features to improve surgical team ergonomics and patient's safety. The 133 mm record size makes this system the only one truly compatible with installation both inside and outside the operating room. The unit can be placed easily on the pendant shelf without the need for external cabling and complex spaces. The solution offers up to 24x24 video channels, double recording, 4 channels for streaming and conference; a compact 3 to 5 Rack Unit size, suitable for installation inside OR; High performance of 3D and 4K/UHD ready, M.A.T.S. and Time Shift Recording innovations; and intuitive, user interface, color code, touch and touchless gesture control; with state of the art medical video distribution, recording and video conference.The Implementation Manager, Operation Room Integration, is responsible for developing a US market specific implementation strategy for the newly acquired Videomed product line. This position will be pivotal to learn the current product line, determine market specific requirements and collaborate with cross business unit colleagues to develop appropriate implementation solutions.Responsibilities include a mix of transcribing international processes to meet market specific requirements and developing new installation and implementation procedures. The Implementation Manager will be the first line of escalated technical support. S/he will be responsible for training implementation teams and installation teams.This role operates in the exciting intersection of strategy, sales support, implementation, and cross-functional partnership. The Implementation Manager will work alongside department managers and work closely with business leaders across all areas of the company. Additionally S/he will work closely with the construction, facilities and technical teams at our hospital customer sites.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:The Implementation Manager reports to the Senior Manager Commercial Operations. S/he will collaborate across the Hillrom and hospital client’s organizations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:S/he is the sole person responsible to setting up all Videomed project management and installation standard operating procedures related to our newly acquired product line (Videomed).Responsible to develop initial product expertise and develop training curriculum to improve proficiency of implementation, installation, and sales teams.

Perform installations and train installation teams during the initial ramp-up

Provide Sales training on system requirements to properly set expectations

Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the project management and installation teams.

Influence third parties, field installation personnel, and sales personnel to drive business results and a customer focused culture.

Develop and manage performance metrics to support high customer satisfaction and efficiency of resources. Perform field audits to ensure performance.

Drive positive customer satisfaction by ensuring the project management and installation teams are appropriately trained to meet internal and external needs. Provide first level support for customer facing meetings resulting from escalated customer concerns.

Supports the development of work instructions and references for field observations, customer communication and installation planning activities.

Demonstrates a pro-active approach towards safety, health, and quality in compliance with all company, governmental and customer regulations.

Benchmark to industry standards and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Work closely with design teams to develop standard designs and best practices.

Role will act as initial escalated support for field teams.

Position may be required to support hands-on site installation support as needed.

Estimated travel 75%.

LOCATION:This is a remote/virtual position and can be based anywhere in the US close to a major airport; however Central or Eastern time zone is preferred.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required; PMP certification a plus

5 years minimum, 8 – 10 years video integration preferred

Technical understanding of IT environments (video cabling, routing, navigating networks, construction site planning, physical installations)

Knowledge and experience of video signals, connector and transmission standards; and all aspects of video routing and recording; previous experience in OR video integration and working knowledge of clinical processes and workflows highly desirable

Ability to successfully manage cross departmental initiatives, exerting influences on multiple stake holders

Must possess ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) relevant project information to clients, superiors and internal customers and deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations

Demonstrated successes communicating difficult/sensitive information tactfully

Understand Internet, Intranet, MS Office products to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Ability to read, comprehend, interpret, analyze, and apply technical information including but not limited to technical manuals, technical bulletins, service manuals, schematics, etc.

Strong work ethic, demonstrating a commitment to details, organization, and time management skills
