Publisher Development Managerat Unruly(View all jobs)New YorkOur Unruly brand is looking for a Publisher Development Manager to join our New York team. This ideal person is an enthusiastic media guru who will work closely with our Business Development and Commercials team to provide first class outreach to grow our Unruly publisher network.The business development team is central to many functions within the company and you will work with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, marketing, and product development to name a few.Day to Day:Our business development team is responsible for all direct publisher supply across the company. This supply enables us to fulfill campaigns sold by our demand team across all device types and provides us with a differentiated and unique supply story that helps drive sales through our programmatic marketplace.You will manage all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, closing, implementing and relationship management, and building successful long-term relationships.You will help grow our publisher footprint across the US, developing a sound knowledge of our supply-side and building bridges between all departments in the interest of our publishers

You will be taking care of the relationship with our partners across all formats, managing these accounts and translating their uniqueness into media strategies, both on the commercial and operational sides

You will be highly analytical, have a genuine interest in digital technologies and confident in communicating on progress across a range of internal and external stakeholders

Recognize opportunities with various websites and applications

Work with the operation team to identify supply requirements and opportunities

Negotiate publisher agreements, including rates and payment terms

Communicate industry expertise and advise clients on new opportunities and how to generate revenue result

Who You AreBachelor degree in B.A or relevant field

Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

2 years + of experience in digital sales or business development, preferably working with Publishers

Extensive knowledge of the programmatic, publishers, and ad tech space

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Adaptability and eagerness to learn new products and technology

Existing relationships with digital publishers is a plus

Able to manage a network of content publishers and develop their revenue opportunity

Able to develop strong personal relationships with supply and exchange partners

Analytical, able to solve problems, articulate solutions and analyze and report upon data

Dedicated – to delivering great service

Customer-focused – with excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills

Confident – in escalating business critical issues internally/externally, able to effectively liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders (sales, operations, publishers)

Energetic – with a high level of initiative and motivation, great at networking, negotiating and closing deals
