LOCATION: VirtualPOSITION SUMMARY:The Director of Human Resources is responsible for providing direction and leading organization and talent development efforts to create world class organization and talent capability to meet strategic and annual business objectives. This includes the coordination and implementation of systems, processes, policies and programs regarding recruitment, immersion/on-boarding, organization development, succession planning, talent development, retention, management training, employment, compensation and benefits administration, environmental, safety, health, associate services, communications, regulatory compliance, union and associate relations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Closely partners with the Vice President and staff to establish HR strategies and priorities for the business.

Assists the Vice President in the assessment and development of his/her staff

Leads organization development efforts to establish a world class organization with the talent capability to meet strategic growth, succession planning, talent export and profit objectives.

Facilitate the development and execution of Organization, Talent Development, Recruiting and Retention strategies and processes.

Direct communications strategy and processes. Provide leadership in achieving and sustaining a high-performance/high-commitment workforce.

Oversee Labor (Union and Works Council) and Associate relations activities including contract negotiations, union avoidance processes and associate engagement programs

Ensure compliance with employment-related laws in all international locations.

Lead the administration or group compensation and benefit programs including ICP (leadership bonus) objective setting, ICP scoring and administration, performance/merit planning, long term incentive, retention and equity programs.

Facilitates and leads the HR team in assessing HR strategies, programs, processes and procedures that use FBS tools to continuously improve HR service and support to all levels of the organization.

Work with the Senior Leadership team and regional HR team in developing effective organization plans to meet strategic initiatives.

Implement leadership development programs including Leadership Essentials, training on performance management and Creating Impactful Development Plans, and Recruiting & Selection.

Prepare and present Organization/Talent Assessment.

Oversee performance management process, including submission of incentive compensation recommendations, merit increases, and equity recommendations.

Ensure that all HR KPI data is reported on a timely and accurate basis monthly.

TECHNICAL SKILLS / TOOLS:Skills include consulting with managers on organization design and talent development, HR administration, management recruiting, associate satisfaction improvement, performance management, training and facilitation, compensation, writing and presentation skills. Solid/advanced MS Office skills (esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint),general computer skills. Technically capable in all functions of Human Resource leadership including; Talent Acquisition, Development & Retention; Organization Strategy and Development; Compensation & Benefits including and Long-Term incentives; Labor and Associate Relations, Written and Oral Communications; Environmental Health & Safety; and, Legal Compliance. Must have strong business acumen and experience linking HR programs and processes to business strategies.EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:A Bachelors Degree in Business, Management or Human Resources, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred. Must have a minimum of 10 years experience providing Human Resources leadership support with a structured, process driven, customer service approach. Experience providing strategic and tactical broad HR leadership to business leaders in a global environment with a focus on talent acquisition, organization development, retention, associate satisfaction and organization performance/effectiveness.Must be willing to travel approximately 30% of the time.
