Our client is a growing not for profit organization that has an exciting new opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join their time of Providers, RN’s, and Social Workers. They have a family-oriented environment with extensive collaboration throughout the company. The organization offers an in-depth training process along with a wide range of different treatment services. They offer primary care services, behavioral health, childhood development, drug free program, and methadone clinic services. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner would be working in a relaxed atmosphere seeing anywhere from 12 -14 patients per day. You would be given 1 hour for an initial Psychiatric evaluation and 30 minutes for a medication checkup. The organization is comprised of over 70 employees and you would be working alongside their 2 Psychiatrists. They do not accept walk in patients and in order to receive Psychiatric treatment patients must be enrolled in their therapy program. We are open to interview Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners for full time or part time. The schedule is Monday through Friday with flexibility, because some days we are open later. No on call or weekend coverage involved. This is 100 % outpatient and you would be seeing a broad range of patients suffering from various different ailments. · Performing Psychiatric evaluations and medication management

· Conducting all results using Electronic medical records system

· Working in a team environment with Psychiatrists, social workers, and RN’s.

· Involved in group therapy sessions

· Designing treatment protocol for patients and conducting follow up appointments

· Prescribing necessary medication when needed

· Involved in decision making processes related to patient provider protocol

Board eligible or Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Active DEA license

Preferred 1 years Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner experience

Graduate of accredited PMHNP program

Must work well in team-oriented environment
