Job Description

Verisk’s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide our interns with real work experience, professional development events, and networking opportunities. We're looking for motivated individuals who embody the Verisk Way to Serve, Add Value, and Innovate.

• Assist Information Security Officer with related Information Security business continuity projects, includingcontrols, audit, testing, business certifications, etc
• Attend project status meetings on an as needed basis
• Manage tasks and activities in a timely manner and is responsible for specific outcomes
• Use analytical and project management methodology and tools
• Plan and organize own work and keeps others informed of status and activities
• Assist in preparing corporate reports and client deliverables
• Maintain an inventory of production materials

Qualifications

• Current Junior or first year Master student in, business administration, economics, computer science, finance, or related field
• Strong research, communications, and project management skills
• Self-motivated and responsible for the quality of his/her work
• Strong goal orientation and work ethic
• Detail oriented; able to handle multiple tasks
• Interest to gain knowledge and relevant work experience in Financial Industry
• Microsoft Office (Excel macros a plus), Adobe Acrobat Professional

The Intern Program is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. If you will require work visa sponsorship (e.g. H1-B visa) after completing your degree, you do not meet the basic requirements of the summer Intern role.
