Job Description

Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a part-time Clinical Nutritionist to join our dynamic corporate medical team in Edgewood, NY! The role of the Clinical Nutritionistis to develop and implement nutritional education programs and treatment plans specific to the needs of our patients in our Edgewood, NYlocation.Services will be provided in-person and via telehealth.This part-time position provides flexible hours and a full suite of benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive nutrition and medical nutritional therapy program. Assess nutritional needs and formulate individual treatment plans based on clinical findings and individual needs. Integrate medical assessments and behavioral modification to achieve this goal.
  • Provide the best course of treatment based upon current clinical research in nutrition.
  • Provide clinical services with high focus on protection of our patients’ right to privacy and protection of confidential information.
  • Develop and provide support groups, nutrition programs, health screenings and evidence-based health webinars based on demand and claims data.
  • Work collaboratively with the medical team and other Broadridge health resources to promote healthy eating habits and treat chronic diseases such as obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes.
  • Make and track appropriate referrals when necessary. Utilize Broadridge health and benefit resources as appropriate and partner with the Broadridge Benefits Team as needed.
  • Meet with the Broadridge VP, Corporate Medical on a regular basis to provide program updates and data demonstrating optimized outcomes.
  • Utilize the electronic medical record for accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher academic credential in Nutrition/Dietetics
  • Current and active New York licensure as a Certified Dietician or Certified Dietician-Nutritionist
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines
  • Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred
  • Certified Diabetes Educator preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience
  • Independent self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge in use of MS Tools and telehealth
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record documentation
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Advanced presentation and written communication skills, as well the ability to convey clinical information to associates in an easy to understand manner
  • Experience with successfully working inside a corporate clinic model a plus
