Farm Mechanic

Mechanic Position needed:

Local company looking for mechanic to perform maintenance and repair on Semi Trucks, Semi trailers, dump,

trucks, heavy equipment, tractors, and light duty vehicles. Negotiable salary, health insurance, 1 week

Responsibilities:  Maintain, repair, assemble and overhaul farm machinery, equipment and vehicles, such as

tractors, combines, tilling equipment, trucks, tractor trailers, and other equipment.  Preventative maintenance inspections on equipment.  Understand basic maintenance, diagnosis, and repair.  Recognize and identify, non-diesel related repairs or maintenance items (trailer, tires, etc).  Maintain a clean and safe work area compliant with company regulation and policy.

Qualifications:  Experience in auto/ equipment service, repair and maintenance required

 General mechanical knowledge

 Ability to stand and/or move constantly during a shift  Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance

 Valid drivers license

 CDL a plus but not required

 Must possess the skills required to accomplish the essential job duties.
