We are seeking candidates to join our team at Carrier Corporation located in Syracuse, NY for the spring of 2021!

Job description :

Identify trends, statistical patterns, and anomalies in data sets from HVAC / R systems

Perform parameter selection for training and testing of analytic models

Use system models to simulate common failure modes in HVAC / R systems to augment sensor data

Prepare clean and concise data plots from analytic work

Clearly communicate findings to engineering and marketing leaders

Education :

B.S track in Engineering, mathematics, or similar field

Completion of statistics course (preferable)

Completion of thermodynamics course (preferable)

Skills :

Detailed knowledge of data analysis in Excel

Experience in Matlab (preferable)

Experience with Python (preferable)
