MBD and HIL((Model based & Hardware) Engineer

MBD(Model based) and HIL(Hardware) Engineer requirement details.Location: Syracuse, NY (Mostly work from office - Can consider WHF for specific case) Responsibilities: Primary:

• Design and implement models for motor control and diagnostic algorithms via a rigorous analytical approach based using MBD tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, SIM power system)
• Ensure optimal implementation with an embedded coder
• Develop, set up, and use standard model-based verification tools and infrastructure - hardware-in-the-loop (HIL).
• Support the development of Standard Work for the use of the above model-based algorithm development tools and processes

• Good Experience in use of MATLAB/Simulink or similar tool for control design, verification, and code generation
• Professional experience developing algorithms for production applications
• Experience developing of models of physical systems (plant model) for closed loop testing of control and diagnostic algorithms (e.g., in Simulink/Simscape)
• Experience in HIL simulations systems, dSpace, Opal RT etc.
