AutoCad Detailer

Growing Steel Fabrication company is looking to add a AutoCAD draftsperson with the ability to work from Structural & Architectural sketches, drawings and specifications to develop; plan views, detailed shop and submittal drawings.

Must be able to: create drawings, set-up drawing files, create bill of materials, and hardware lists for; industrial & commercial equipment, structural steel, misc. steel (stairs, handrails, guardrails, ladders, mezzanines, platforms), and renovation projects.

Must have 3+ years working experience in 2D drafting, (3D a plus), sound technical background, excel & word computer knowledge, understand OSHA and NYS Building codes, the ability to work independently to complete drawings on a timely basis, with minimal supervision.
