LEAD DRIVER

Full Time | Day Shift | No Weekends!

Pay rate starting at 16.50 /hour

What will I do as a Lead Driver for The Wesley Community?

Schedule resident appointments to ensure conflict-free schedules.

Transport residents properly to and from appointments outside of the facility (i.e., doctors' appointments, bank, post office, outings, activities as needed, etc.).

Keep a log of all appointments in the Appointment Book and/or Computer of all transports on the weekly transport vehicle record sheets.

Keep vehicles clean, both inside and out, on a weekly basis.

Inform the Maintenance Department in a timely manner, of any possible problems or needed repairs.

Work with Maintenance Department to schedule regular vehicle maintenance (i.e., oil changes, tune-ups, etc.).

Work with Maintenance Department to keep vehicle registrations up to date.

Maintain handicap sticker renewals.

Use Written Requests for Transport forms when scheduling resident transports.

Work closely with the Assisted Living staff to facilitate proper communication to help insure timely transportation.

Represent Woodlawn Commons in a positive light when in the community specifically, do not smoke while on the job, dress respectably, and act in a manner that reflects well on Woodlawn Commons.

Lead Driver Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.

Previous related work in associated field preferred.

On the job training and orientation acceptable.
