Apex Systems is looking for an Alarm Installation Technician for one of our biggest clients in the Rochester, NY area! Here are the details: Job Title: Alarm Installation Technician Location: Rochester, NY and surrounding areas must be willing to drive Hours: Tues-Sat with possibility for voluntary OT Rate: Based on experience Duration: 6 mo. temp to perm Position Description: Responsible for installing, testing, repairing, and servicing low voltage electrical and electromechanical equipment primarily for security alarm systems in customer's premises and signal receiving centers. Qualifications:

  • Basic Electrical and Mechanical knowledge
  • High school degree or equivalent mandatory, trade school or higher education desired
  • Willingness to learn
  • Customer Service Knowledge or background
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License and Car insurance
  • Reliable Vehicle for work (mileage reimbursements + monthly cellphone reimbursements allotted)
  • Understanding that there may be some physical aspects to the role- such as climbing a ladder
