Shipping Lead:

About the position:

This is a full-time, first shift position with benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k as well as paid vacation and holidays.

The position is Monday - Friday with overtime on weekends as needed or extended shifts during the week.

Responsibilities include an assortment of shipping and inventory tasks but are not limited to, packaging and shipping books and other gift products. The position is great for a high-energy person that likes to stay moving all day! This is a high-paced position that will involve overseeing other permanent and temporary staff members. Must be able to communicate well with other staff members. Pallet jack and fork truck experience is a benefit as daily use will be needed.

Requirements:

Familiar with PC operating systems and comfortable using a computer

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening

Must be able to work safely, communicate well, and produce quality work at an efficient pace

Manage time well and prioritize tasks. Must be well organized and be able to maintain a clean working environment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to bend, lift, and squat while retrieving packing supplies and boxing books

Ability to stand for a full shift

Ability to lift 20lbs consistently and up to 40lbs frequently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
