job summary:

Functional Analyst (Time and Labor)

The Functional Analyst (T+L) is responsible for both Time and Labor configurations & support, and support of the service line after go-live.

Level 2 Triage/Resolution

  • Base level Task/Request activities
  • Shift Template/Patterns/Workload (budget) planner updates
  • Basic dataview and report creation
  • Build hyperfinds
  • Business Structure Updates: Job level only
  • Setting symbolic reviewers
  • Trust site monitoring - maintenance downtime notifications/calendar, release note review, tech.rochester job aid support/updates
  • Dept Identifier Changes
  • Issue triage with business liaisons to resolve or escalate
  • Monitor/respond to ServiceNow/JIRA queue - User Ticket Management
  • Perform initial ticket research & resolve (with review by level 3) or escalate to level 3
  • Timecard support for HR/Payroll Team
  • Skills/Certs/Schedule Groups assignments assistance
  • 2nd level access issues
  • How to questions

Support/Maintenance/Enhance/Build

  • Enhancements/Upgrades with Configuration or New Builds
  • Schedule generation, batch processes, scheduled jobs
  • Schedule rule sets, schedule tags
  • Visibility periods (maintenance/creation)
  • Time Request Types (vacation/conflict/etc.)
  • Payroll/T&L workrule, paycodes, percent allocations, etc. (creation/modification)
  • Complex dataview and report creation
  • Employee Groups & Job Transfer set (modification & creation)
  • Application security: Function access profiles, display access profiles [create/modify]
  • Adding new teams/groups
    • Evaluation for delivery (ticket/OPW/PRJ.etc.) and services required
    • HRMS/HBOC implications to Day Divide/Time Allocation

Manage update/release cycle for changes/enhancements/environment refreshes

  • Integration Support/Maintenance/Enhance/Build
  • HRMS/HBOC/Ultipro CRTs/Integrations
  • Census data integrations
  • Payroll/Accrual integrations/exports
  • Optilink Extensions Dimensions integration (Optilink to Dimensions)
  • Business structure changes (Application & AWS)
  • Application CRT changes
