Veterinary Assistant

Our team is expanding and we are looking for a new Veterinary Assistant! Experience helpful, but not required as we are willing to train the right candidate.

This full time position is moderate to fast pace for 8-10 hours a day 4 days a week, requires problem solving skills, high ability to communicate with staff and the public, good memory and retention skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases at the same time. This position is also physically demanding as restraining and carrying all sized pets is part of the job. Assistants are extensions of the Technician’s work, helping techs, doctors, and kennel staff while interacting with receptionists and the public.

Full time hours are 34-40 hours a week, health insurance, sick and vacation days, SIMPLE IRA, and other benefits are part of the package. Pay rate negotiated on a case by case basis.
