RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer in New York City, New York (NY). In this role, the Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the design, migration and implementation of efficient applications and services in Azure. This is a technical Infrastructure focused role.
Responsibilities include: Work closely with a talented team of dynamic and passionate architects and engineers to deliver automated cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions in Azure, with a primary focus on migrating existing legacy apps Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer will lead the requirements gathering, analysis, design, and implementation of solutions leveraging Azure Platform as a Service Identify refactoring opportunities for migrated apps Develop scripts to automate the deployment of resource stacks and associated configurations Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer will create and update technical documentationREQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of production level experience designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaS Experience in deploying and configuring scalable web applications using Azure cloud services - Azure VMs, File system management, Azure blob or S3 storage, Azure AD, Load Balancers Experience of migration and modernization of workloads from customers' on-premises data centers to Azure Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps (VSTS) to deploy both infrastructure and applications Hands on experience in IaaC using Terraform or equivalent managing automated and continuous deployment Experience with relational and NoSQL database and related technologies (e.g., MS SQL Server, MySQL, Redis, Memcached, MongoDB) Ability to maximize knowledge transfer through the production of high-quality process documentation Strong problem investigation and diagnosis skills Excellent written and oral communication skillsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
