Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Consultant who is Service Desk Analyst to join their team at this global investment bank located in New York City. The position will start remotely but candidates should be located in the metropolitan area. PLEASE NOTE: the client is not accepting candidates who require a visa transfer. The consultant will provide call-in, email, ticket-entered, and desk side support for all enterprise hardware and software for break/fix, backup restores, new hire builds, termination ACL and equipment reclaim, new installs, new software approvals and purchases, remote access and mobile requests.

THE DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work on projects requiring changes to one of the enterprise services such as RSA, BlackBerry, Outlook, WebEx and Reception.
  • Provide support and supplies replenishment for all print services
  • Liaise with print services vendors and ensure services are right sized for the enterprise
  • Manage contracts related to print services and order all relates supplies and services
  • Maintain printer and office supplies inventory through maintenance of the enterprise vendor agreement
  • Liaise with building and Bank facilities, engineering, printing, security and mail services departments on behalf of the Securities business
  • Share afterhours support with the team on facility matters, as well as large and small moves
  • Liaise with management on Enterprise technology and facilities services
  • Liaise with Bank Tier 2 support to ensure affiliate access issues are resolved within SLE (Service Level Expectation)
  • CPR and First Aid trained and Securities safety coordinator
  • Maintain all inventory and tracking tools to the expectation of audit, and ensure colleagues can perform their jobs efficiently - seating charts, mobile device and number lists, software license inventories
  • Work with other infrastructure and technology departments such as the Windows team to ensure processes such as Kace device management is kept up to date
  • Provide all upgrades and testing for software that goes off support
  • Provide enterprise tool training for all staff upon request
  • Provide rotating weekend coverage
  • Travel when necessary to remote offices for support

  • Turrets and Cisco Voice equipment
  • Hardware: Monitors, TVs, PCs, thin and zero clients, peripherals, cable management
  • Wired and wireless headsets
  • Conference Room and Video conference equipment
  • WebEx and Lync conference services
  • Outlook / MS Office / In-house Excel cube add-in based tools
  • Adobe products
  • SQL, TOAD, Oracle DB
  • CIFS folder systems
  • Reception services dual-access and facilities equipment
  • RAS and WebAccess Client Services Terminal for Dual Access
  • BlackBerry UEM, BlackBerry Work, CellTrust
  • Bloomberg Hardware and accounts
