Apex has an opportunity for a Release Manager for a major financial client in NYC. Here are the details: Position: Release Manager Location: NYC Rate: Negotiable Duration: 18 Month W2 Contract Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of releases according the Release Management Policy and Lifecycle.
  • Organize, direct, and manage activities for building and maintaining releases for their promotion to the production environment.
  • Communicate and manage customer expectations, including Agile teams, IT Service Owners, Application Owners and the Business.
  • Change deployment using standard ITSM processes

Must Haves:
  • 5+ years of IT experience, experience with release and change management
  • High level of IT competence with aptitude for learning new technologies and processes with a focus on ITIL technologies and processes
  • Jira

Nice to Haves:
  • Hands on experience using BCM Remedy for Change and Incident Management
  • Financial services experience
