Placing grocery orders for the week to keep the kitchen and other household items stocked.

Doing and folding laundry.

How do you know if you’re right for this role?

You love to learn and improve over time.

You are proactive, punctual, and have high standards for your work.

You enjoy organizing things physically and making them go ‘in their right place.’

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You’re comfortable using collaborative task-management software (eg. Asana, Monday.com, Airtable, etc.).

You are creative and effective at figuring out how to solve problems you haven’t solved before.

You’re trustworthy with a strong moral compass, and you have references that can attest to your ability to handle sensitive information.

You are comfortable nagging people to follow-up and get things done (this can include nagging me too!).

Optional:

You are able to perform basic handyman tasks such as hanging pictures and minor repairs.

You have a culinary background and are able to do meal prep.

A little about me - I’m in my 30’s, just moved to NYC from San Francisco, am a big foodie, and love my job. My most recent hobbies include boxing and going to shows (usually EDM). Happy to cover more and answer specific questions during the interview process.

Compensation is $35 per hour for around 10 hours per week of work, with 5 hours guaranteed (so if you work less than 5 hours in a given week, you still get paid for 5).

To apply, please include your resume and, if desired, a short cover letter explaining why you believe you’d be a good fit for this role. The interview process will include one or two video interviews, reference checks, and a one-week trial. Note: You must be able to come to SoHo every weekday in the morning (Prince St and Mercer St).
