Front Counter Person @ Vegan Sandwich Shop

Looking for 1-2 positive, reliable, self-motivated people to join our small team at a vegan sandwich shop. The position is for a front counter person mostly for evenings and weekend shifts. It’s a part-time position. We’re looking for self-motivated people that are willing to work solo in the front of house taking orders, getting orders out the door and handling a limited coffee/drink menu. Starting pay $18/hr plus tips.

Must have:

-weekend and evening availability

-good customer service and organizational skills

-knowledge or experience with vegan food a plus

-a good attitude! We like to maintain a fun, respectful, calm-under-pressure workplace

Responsibilities include:

-taking orders and providing menu recommendations

-keeping track of and prioritizing orders coming in and out via delivery services and in store

-packing up orders for delivery and to-go

-serving a limited menu of coffee and drinks (not a barista position, no espresso)

-maintaining a clean front of house

-maintaining clean work area

-light cleaning
