Job Description Pmac's Hospitality is hiring for senior level management and leadership positions. Our group operates many of Midtown's most popular and well-known cocktail bar and restaurant establishments in the Theater District and Hell's Kitchen neighborhoods. We are a vibrant and dynamic hospitality group located in the heart of Midtown, known for our eclectic menus, exquisite cocktails, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking experienced and passionate managers to lead our team and ensure the continued success of our establishment.We are looking for qualified leaders including General Manager, Assistant-General Manager, and Beverage Director for several exciting new growth opportunities we have on the horizon. Summary:The General Manager and AGM will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.As the Assistant General Manager for our busy cocktail bar & restaurant in Hell's Kitchen, you will be a pivotal leader overseeing the daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. With core skills in food service management, hospitality, and team leadership, you will supervise staff, manage the kitchen, and uphold high standards of service. Your premium skills in inventory management and food preparation will optimize efficiency, while your relevant experience in catering and barista services will enhance our offerings. Responsibilities: - Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of staff, including servers, bartenders, chefs, and support staff. Foster a positive work environment and culture of teamwork and collaboration. - Customer Service: Ensure that all guests receive outstanding service by maintaining a high standard of hospitality and addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. - Operations: Oversee all aspects of restaurant and bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. - Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability. Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to achieve financial targets. - Staff Development: Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and support. - Marketing & Promotions: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, including social media campaigns, special events, and promotions. - Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to create and update menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Ensure consistency and quality in all food and beverage offerings. - Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and negotiate favorable terms. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards, labor laws, and licensing requirements. Qualifications:- Proven experience (3+ years) as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in the restaurant and bar industry.- Strong leadership and organizational skills.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and menu development.- Familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies.- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
