Prep cook - Daytime

Small restaurant looking for a daytime prep cook for 4 days a week for immediate hire.

Monday and Tuesday required.

Hours are flexible, approximately 9am-3pm/4pm

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Butcher fish and poultry

- Making pastries

- Making sauces and salad dressings

- Braises and vegetable cooking

- Cleaning your stations

- Receiving deliveries

Requirements:

- Professional kitchen prep experience is required.

- Sense of urgency and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.

- Self motivated and ability to work by yourself.

- Familiarity with DOH protocols.

- A willingness to be flexible with responsibilities and scheduling when necessary.

- Proof of eligibility to work in NYC.

- Professional references.

Compensation: $18- $24 depending on experience.

Potential for increased pay and opportunities down the line.
