Ironing and folding of clothes

Our warehouse is located in Industry City, Brooklyn and we are looking for someone to assist our current workers with garment refurbishment/returns/inventory at our warehouse.

The job would involve careful inspection of returned merchandise, the refurbishment and re-packaging of such merchandise for sale again. Attention to detail and ability to press and fold are a must.

Some basic sewing or tailoring experience is a big plus.

Job Requirements:

-Inspection of garments to identify any damage, product defects, fabric flaws (stains, button missing, dirt etc)

-Spot cleaning if necessary

-Light duty sewing/alterations if necessary

-Garment pressing and steaming

-Adding/changing hang tags

-Folding garments

-Spanish speaking is a plus but not required

-Packaging garments

-Basic Computer Knowledge is a plus

-Re-labeling polybags if necessary

- Must speak basic English

This is part-time position, 20-25 hours a week. Warehouse is open M-F 10am-6p.
