You are customer focused, enjoy building relationships and providing financial advice to your clients. A role as a Strategic Account Manager (SAM) is for you. The SAM is the face of the Firm to a portfolio of Middle Market clients and will work both independently, and as part of a team, to deliver our comprehensive solutions. Strategic Account Managers need a deep working knowledge of our solutions, including, but not limited to, Credit Products, Treasury Services, International Banking, Commercial Card and Chase Merchant Solutions.You are comfortable having a conversation around the types of capital businesses use to grow and identify opportunities to engage with JPM's Investment Bank and Financial Sponsors Group. As a SAM, you will interact and liaise with other areas of the organization including credit underwriters, AML/KYC officers, client service associates (CSAs), and treasury management officers.The Strategic Account Manager will focus on maintaining and deepening our existing client relationships, reporting to the New York Metro EMM Market Executives. They are advisors on complex relationships helping our clients to grow and achieve their goals.Job Responsibilities

On-going client relationship management and responsiveness, including face-to-face meetings at the client company on a regular basis, identifying opportunities to deepen the existing relationship. SAM is also responsible for documenting these meetings with call reports and maintaining CRM system updates.

Delivering Credit solutions for clients, uncovering and assessing client credit requests, as well as requests for amendments and waivers in coordination with the credit underwriters.

Coordinating with treasury management officers to add or expand domestic and international treasury relationships with the clients.

In conjunction with Service Analysts, the SAM will ensure the client's expectations are properly set and operational needs are serviced in an appropriate and high-quality manner. The Strategic Account Manager will also have responsibility for annual coverage review of product sets and delivering the products and services of the firm to clients.

Oversight, escalation and resolution of any compliance, AML/KYC due diligence.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

3-5 years of middle market banking, including associated formal credit training, with a focus on business relationships

Strong investigatory, due diligence and risk analysis skills

Strong creative solution and problem solving abilities

Able to work independently multi-task and handle a sizeable account load

Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services, how to solution and uncover opportunities

Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals

Familiarity with loan and other contractual documentation

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

Bachelor's degree preferred

Strong client-facing skills.Polished, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Completion of a formal bank sponsored credit training program or formal training or experience in an underwriting role. Able to present risk issues in a succinct and cogent manner to senior leaders

Previous treasury experience is strongly preferred
