Our Human Resources and Employee Relations teams partner with the business to align people strategies with business goals.About the Role As a Program Manager/ Sr Program Manager you will lead projects that support the scaling and continuous improvement of Uber's Global HR Support model. You will directly oversee projects geared towards solutions that improve key people processes/programs, HR compliance, and policy work within Uber's multi-tiered HR support operations. Your role will drive partnerships with People Partners, HR Business Partners, and COEs to ensure we meet the emerging needs of the business. This evolving and growing function will help define clear process and policy ownership for key HR programs that ensure efficiency and scalability. You will work closely with various cross-functional stakeholders to identify and negotiate resourcing needs, interdependent workflows, and building out of procedures to support identified work.What You'll Do Identify and root cause key areas of opportunity in the Global HR Support Model for People Partners and HR Business Partners and oversee projects/programs geared towards solutions Responsible for defining and improving HR processes, policies, and operating procedures that enhance the employee experience Collaborate with global HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, Legal, and other cross-functional People teams to drive a comprehensive, business-centric approach for HR processes and compliance functions. Research and analyze the organizational impact of process and policy requirements or changes to communicate recommendations to HR leadership and stakeholders. Build business reviews for leadership, People Partners, and HR Business Partner teams to audit ongoing performance against key metricsBasic Qualifications 5+ years of professional, related experience in people operations, HR generalist, HR advisor, HR business partner or project/program manager in the human resourcesPreferred Qualifications Project Management: experience in running HR projects, can coordinate and prioritize new projects, and support the business & people teams through significant process changes Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve sophisticated and sensitive HR issues/problems Proven effective partner management and collaboration with other teams to deliver a consistent employee experience Excellent verbal written communication skills; and strong project management expertise Workday experience and/or experience using ServiceNow or similar case management system is a plus Strong business acumen. Ability to understand Uber's businesses and how data can inform our people and business objectives. For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $133,000 per year - $147,500 per year. For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $133,000 per year - $147,500 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $133,000 per year - $147,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
