The annual salary for this position is between $37.7k and $43.7k plus a very generous benefits package which includes: FULL MEDICAL PAID BY EMPLOYERNO COST TO YOU! dental and vision plans; generous paid time off, 403B with employer match, tuition reimbursement and more. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Review timecards for all Residential staff (over 700 employees) in agency's time and attendance system for accuracy.Complete Payroll Change Notices for all transfers/promotions, including employees on Family & Medical Leave/Disability Leave.Complete all separation notices.Calculate salaries for all transfers (including promotions).Ensure distribution of paychecks to Residential sites on bi-weekly basis or as applicable and a nalyze and research all payroll problems and provides solutions as needed. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree and one-two years related experience.Capacity to become expert in agency's time & attendance system(s).Strong communications skills with broad range with stakeholders, including staff, managers, and directors of the department as well as agency-wide Payroll Department personnel.Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and agency-specific databases.Ability to generate correspondence and need for strong written communication skills.Must be well organized and have initiative to work independently.Must be willing to occasionally work outside of regularly-scheduled hours in order to meet payroll Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
