job summary:
Description:- Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for new & existing global SRCM Platforms
- Manage incidents and deployments of new & existing applications across environments
- The candidate will be required to look across the entire environment to aid continuous improvement with the state and supportability of respective systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with our stakeholders
- Work closely with Development and TI teams to ensure that issues and defects are reported and actioned and meet business requirements and timelines
- Work closely with other MAPS team members across the regions to ensure consistent service delivery and standardisation
- Improve documentation of support policies and procedures.
- Respond to requests and inquiries from CIO & TI teams within pre-determined timeframes of our service level agreement
- Identify solutions to work around open issues / problems that are under investigation or pending resolution
- Work directly with our end users for any support related issue

- Manage issues by communicating to relevant stake holders through normal communication channels, raising incidents and problem records.
- Build and maintain partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts
- Troubleshooting of complex system issues
- Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots
- Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements
- Accurate tracking of support effort to enable effective management reporting
- Microsoft SharePoint Expertise
- Operating systems: Unix, Linux, Windows
- Programming languages: Python, .NET, Java
- Scripting languages: Unix Shell, Perl, Python
- Ansible, Automation, Openshift, Kubernetes
- Cloud & Containerization
- Well rounded understanding of infrastructure disciplines (network, server, storage, messaging)
