job summary:

Our client, a rapidly growing Fintech firm is looking for a Solutions Architect to join the team and provide strategic vision for major technology R&D programs and act as a relationship manager for one of their largest clients. As a Solutions Architect, you will draw on your technical expertise and business acumen and apply the insights you have gained through experience to analyze, develop and implement new applications focused on the Financial Reporting and Post Trade Back Office Systems.

Skills

10+ years of experience in client facing roles that required a high degree of consultative and skilled in building solutions;
Must have domain experience in the Hedge Fund space. A focus around back office systems and post trade processing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in process governance and managing software development roadmaps
Helpful functional expertise includes: relationship management, process re-engineering and analysis, data modeling, vendor analysis, ROI/IRR calculations and best practices for developing and delivering technology
An understanding of software development processes is preferred, but a passion and aptitude for technology is a must

responsibilities:

Deconstruct client problems into their component parts and design scalable solutions in collaboration with other team colleagues
Support software development activities and ensure the team delivers a superior level of service across all of the firm's offerings
Coordinate and oversee deliverables across a distributed team to achieve the business' strategic vision and objectives
Present to, and collaborate with, senior members of a hedge fund organization
Manage a discretionary development budget
