- Develop an understanding of Mephisto and the features that are available, utilizing the documentation, examples, and exploring the codebase.
- Engage with project teams in initial meetings to develop an understanding of the task at hand.
- Work with core team members to develop a strategy for implementing a task for project teams.
- Build out prototypes and early pilot implementations for crowdsourcing tasks, including the frontend components (in React) and the data management and run scripts (in Python).
- Execute initial pilots of your prototype with crowdworkers, create data pipelines to analyze results, and iterate on the task to improve result quality.
- Evaluate team requests for additional functionality or for extra tooling and either provide support where possible or escalate when necessary.
- When no projects require support, work with the core team to refactor and integrate solutions from specific tasks back into the Mephisto framework.
- Provide documentation and testing for added feature functionality.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Ability to navigate structured data and do quality analysis.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues.
- Knowledge of computer software systems end-to-end.
- Expertise with React and Python.
- Expertise with C and audio processing
