JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 12+ months (Strong possibility of extension)

Overview:

You will drive development of the Salesforce platform used by our partners to connect with the Android Enterprise team and each other. This is a critical role which will support our goal of delivering incredible value to our partners using Salesforce. You are comfortable with the Salesforce.com feature set and with diving into the technical aspects involved with integrating and extending the product. You are able to provide long-term solutions by leveraging features, functions and best practices within the Salesforce platform. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment - the ability to adapt and tolerate changes are a necessity.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to define, evaluate, prioritize and improve Salesforce features and functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve Salesforce integrations with other systems (e.g. Intellum Platform, Advocu, Marketo).
Maintain portal stability and availability.
Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for system design.
Be mindful of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all your activities, both within the program and within the team.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory:

BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience
5-8yrs of total experience
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
Experience in the configuration and custom development for Salesforce product areas (Salesforce Platform, Community Cloud, Service Cloud)
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages: Java, C, Python, JavaScript or other scripting language
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and building integrations with Salesforce
Ability to perform automated testing and write unit tests

Desired:

Salesforce Certified App Builder and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
Solid programming experience in SOQL, SOSL, and APEX languages
Experience with Lightning UX and Lightning Web Components
Ability to work well in a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team
Familiar with Android Enterprise
