Job Description:

Our client is looking to hire a senior Full Stack Java Developer to join their US Operations IT responsible for supporting the Trade Settlement and Transaction Processing technology platform. The team provides day-to-day support to the Middle Office, Operations and Regulatory users, and manages the vendor and in-house applications. The group also own the applications that provide Trade Settlement Data Service to other technology teams from Operations, Finance, Reference Data , Risk, Regulatory and Compliance.

THE DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full life cycle application development
Understand functional and non-functional requirements and develop a scalable and high performance solutions.
Implement Devops Tool chain products to support build, test and release automations for the in-house applications
Reengineer the existing applications for private and public cloud migration
Perform design and code reviews with other members in the team
Support production releases, respond to user queries and production issues and work towards successful resolutions.

THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB:

8-10 years of hands on Java and SQL development experience
Must have strong knowledge of Java, Angular JS, Mircroservices, Spring Boot and Oracle or MySQL databases
Must have strong knowledge of testing frameworks like Junit, Cucumber, Selenium etc.
Working knowledge about messaging middleware IBM-MQ or Kafka and JMS API.
Working knowledge of Restful APIs, caching solutions and event-driven architectures.
Preferably familiar with spring cloud framework and container technologies like Docker, Cloud foundry etc.
Must have working knowledge of all major CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible etc. for build, packaging and deployment
Comfortable working with global technology teams, good problem solving attitude and ability to articulate the technical solutions to managers and senior members
