SUMMARY:Our client, a leading asset management firm located in NYC is looking to hire a Senior SQL Server Developer / Data Architect. The candidate will oversee and participate in the design, development, and enhancement of the various databases and reporting. This includes database design and implementation, ETL programming and reporting. The candidate will interface with the business, from senior level management, down to end users. Good knowledge of the business and strong communication skills is essential. The candidate is passionate about learning new technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES.

Design and implement databases to reflect new and existing business requirements.
Evaluate current data designs and databases to determine needed, upgrades and improvements.
Design and optimize queries and stored procedure.
Design and automate various internal and external reports using SSRS, InDesign and Power BI.
Communicate with many different company stakeholders to assess needs and goals
ETL Programming.
Interpret functional and business requirements, design and implement solutions and architecture suited to our current business model and enhance them.

REQUIREMENTS

8+ years SQL Server development /architecture of enterprise applications and database solutions.
Expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server Data Management Services (SSMS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Nervon Charting Software.
Solid knowledge of T-SQL (SQL Server) which includes stored procedures, UDF’s and query optimization.
Solid knowledge of SSRS and Power BI.
Solid ETL skills.
Experience in T-SQL, SSRS, Power BI and SQL Server database management systems.
Experience in application modularization and modernization including adoption of Micro Service Architecture models
DevOps experience in building, maintaining, and executing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), DevOps solutions, architecture patterns, or similar DevOps task.
Working knowledge of.net frameworks, including .net core, using C#, ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, Bootstrap, jQuery, JavaScript.
Good understanding of Azure environment and DevOps.
Strong communication skills are required.
Knowledge of business domain is recommended.
Following experience, a plus: InDesign, Power Apps, Power Automate, Active Batch, Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, SharePoint, InDesign Automation

Excellent compensation package including profit sharing, bonus, and full benefit package. Hybrid work environment that includes 3 days in office and 2 days working from home.
