RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a growing Digital Marketing Firm (well-known) located in New York, NY that is seeking a Desktop Support Technician.

Summary:They are searching for a Support Technician who can support both Windows and MAC environments. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will serve as an escalation point for all IT issues. Desktop Support Technician will act as an on-site resource for IT setup and break/fix problems requiring remote hands. You will assist with IT Projects as needed. You will provide user provisioning- new account setup, access changes, etc. (mostly within 365 and AD but other systems as needed). The Desktop Support Technician will be working with workstation setup (imaging/prepping and deploying/swapping end-user devices). And there is a lot of visibility as you'll report to the IT Director.

Responsibilities: Desktop Support Technician serves as an escalation point for the helpdesk for all IT issues Act as on-site resource for IT setup and break/fix issues requiring remote hands Assist with IT Projects as needed User Provisioning- new account setup, access changes, etc. (mostly within 365 and AD but other systems as needed) Workstation setup (imaging/prepping and deploying/swapping end-user devices) New user orientation and training Desktop Support Technician creates documentation including walkthroughs and training materials for IT as needed Conducts user training sessions for new and existing IT systems Other various duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of IT support experience Knowledge of account creation and permissions changes in AD and 365 Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and reasoning skills to address support issues independently Self-starter capable of working autonomously Strong people skills and the ability to thrive in a social office environment
