RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team for a contract assignment in New York City.

Summary:In this role, the IT Support Technician will assist computer users with setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and problems they have with their computers. The IT Support Technician will often provide both in-person technical support and assist customers remotely, generally via phone or e-mail.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users Proficiency in IT helpdesk software, such as Freshservice and SysAid Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
