The client's customers include top banks and investment firms. location: New York, New Yorkjob type: Permanentsalary: $120,000 - 135,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Client Manager The Client Manager will serve as the lead technical contact for customers, providing professional and courteous technical support of foreign exchange trading software in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities- Liaise with customers as the primary technical point of contact for trading software functionality and venue connectivity
- Translate customer requests into project requirements, coordinate project development and delivery, including product configuration and software testing
- Coordinate and provide tier-1 support, resolving operational issues or escalating as needed
- Participate in follow-the-sun support model, communicating issues clearly in ticketing systems, and providing well-organized issue handoffs at EOD
- Electronic trading
- FIX protocol
- Forex markets
- CentOS / REHL (or other nix)
- Extreme comfort with log investigation and configuration file management
- Jira
- Experience level: Manager
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
- Manager
- IT Project Manager
- Support (5 years of experience is preferred)
