A NYS agency located in New York, NY is looking for a Front End Developer for a 4 month contract.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION MAY ALLOW FOR SOME WORK TO BE PERFORMED REMOTELY. HOWEVER, CONSULTANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK ON-SITE/IN-OFFICE WEEKLY ONCE COVID RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED.

Requirements and skills

Knowledge in modern front-end web design
Emphasis on creating/maintaining complex UI application that is easy to maintain and extensible.
PHP Expertise
Many existing legacy applications that need maintenance, upgrades
Large code base that might need various interfaces redesigned, possibly migrated off PHP for performance reasons.
SQL Experience
Knowledge with Oracle Preferred
4-6 years' experience: Web Based Applications, Web Development/ Design, Oracle, PHP and Web Development

Preferred Skills

AMQP Knowledge
Experience building continuous integration pipelines for web applications, including testing, deployment, and monitoring
Knowledge of Railroad operations.
