A leading utility provider located in New York, NY is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer for a 12+ month contract.

While this team is currently working remote, in office work will begin again in New York City in September 2021. Candidates MUST be local and willing to work onsite.

Requirements and skills 5+ years of hands on experience with Azure Infrastructure and development solutions.

5+ years' of experience in designing Azure DevOps pipelines, installations, configurations, automations and monitoring of various cloud services including: (laaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
Experience with DevOps CICD tools and concepts - Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps and staged integrations etc.
Solid experience with Azure DevOps implementations, migrations and upgrades.
Experience with scripting languages - YAML, PowerShell, Groovy, Java Scripts, Python.
Experience in UI Automation with Selenium
Experience with software QA tools and processes
Experience in understanding requirements, writing test scenarios from requirements
Experience in implementing Full lifecycle DevOps automation including Configurations management, Build Automation, Release Management, Development automation and Infrastructure management.
Candidate must have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including effectively communicating with technical and non-technical team members;
Experience working in a high demand work environment.
Hands on knowledge of working in java environment and Oracle Cloud Environment
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and Stored Procedures.
Should be able to investigate issues/bugs identified
Should be able to handle technical communications and understand APIs
Familiar with Windows and Linux.

Desired Skills

Any experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Fusion Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

The project involves multi year implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud SaaS Application and Oracle Analytics cloud. We will be using Azure DevOps & GitHub for Code repo, Testing, Pipelines and Release management.
Assignment is to lead the technical team in setting up testing and release management (Azure DevOps CICD tools )
The candidate for this position will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and architect, configure and maintain Azure DevOps environments supporting all testing and project objectives.
He/she will primarily be responsible for activities related to the Architecting, configuring, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of the Azure DevOps related to code testing and releases
Develop deployment automation to provide a fully functional cloud stack in Azure that supports new and existing environments.
Develop templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions.
Design and development of Systems using micros service architecture focusing on operational requirements and infrastructure setup.
Integration with on-premise applications, cloud providers or other platforms.
Support setting up DevOps CICD tools
Support writing test scenarios from requirements
