RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Pharmacy Inventory Management Project Manager in New York, NY.
Overview:The client is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Pharmacy Inventory Management Project Manager for a position within the PMO (Program Management Office), for a 6-month contract with possibility of converting to permanent position based on performance. This position calls for someone with extensive experience managing the implementation of Omnicell. The Project Manager must possess sound judgement, a high degree of professionalism and ready diplomacy as they will partner with other EITS units, departments, and third-party vendors to deliver the project in a timely and efficient manner. All NYC agency acute care facilities have utilized a Non-Omnicell product for automated dispensing machines (ADM) -medication cabinets- for medication storage (controlled and non-controlled) since 2002.The Project includes implementing Omnicell ADM, anesthesia workstation (AWS), central pharmacy inventory storage hardware (Carousel) and software (Omnicell CPM), sterile compounding device (Omnicell IVX), and intelligence solution with control substance diversion software (Omnicell One with Bluesight). Epic integration is In-Scope for this projectEngagement Location, Hours and Duration:The engagement will take place remotely, with the potential (however, unlikely) to travel to New York City to meet and work with the project teams.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Project Manager formulates the project stream/program management plan, in accordance with the scope, budget, timing and quality as set by stakeholders Specifies the resourcing of the project, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used Leads the project team in terms of quality, spend, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and managing all assigned project resourcesREQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
