Desktop Support Analyst (PC & MAC) The PC and Macintosh Desktop will oversee all activities of the assigned areas and serve as first and Second level support for the IS&T Department . In addition will provide cross-platform support handling at times projects and assignments as directed by I.T departmental and needs to follow procedures and standards.

    PC\Mac responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
    • Support the daily activities of the PC and Mac communities, to include if need be training, organizing, and planning.
    • Responsible for enhancements and maintenance of all hardware for assigned client groups.
    • Provide 1st and 2nd level PC and Macintosh support to all clients.
    • Responsible for monitoring Salesforce (Helpdesk system) Ticket Queues for all PC and Macintosh related operational issues or emergencies to meet assigned SLA’s.
    • Provide Executive Support as required to senior management.
    • Provide a high level of customer service and technical support for all PC and Macintosh client groups.
    • Working closely with all other IS&T team.
    • Test and evaluate all PC’s and Macintosh Laptops standards (hardware and software).
    • Planning the deployments of PC’s and Macintosh computers, operating systems and application upgrades.
    • Working closely with client groups, measuring performance against customer requirements and recommend modifications to existing systems or development of new systems as needed. Plan and coordinate projects to meet future needs.
    • Troubleshoots networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational problems.
    • Provide afterhours support for clients and production environment as needed.
    • Maintains Knowledge base with respect to relevant state –of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems

    III. Education and/or Experience:
    • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a mid to large scale multi-platform Macintosh/Windows operating system
    • Strong Customer Service and Technical skills required.
    • Bachelor’s degree and Apple/Windows Certification(s) preferred.
    • Proficiency with installation and troubleshooting of PC’s and Macintosh Laptops and peripherals
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Macintosh OS and Windows Operating systems required, Office O365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Adobe application suite, Jamf.
    • Experience in setup of iPhone and Android devices required
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Network concepts.
  • Physical Abilities Required/Equipment Usage:
    • Must be able to lift PCs, Monitors, Printers and other desktop equipment (up to 30 pounds).
