Job Description

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will lead the charge to connect users with the Publicis Media Technology suite of capabilities.

Product Marketing Managers serve as strategic partners to advance their product journeys in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, data analytics and reporting as well as a firm understanding of data visualization for marketing activities. They are responsible for training and enablement, defining messaging and positioning, industry research, maintaining compelling product collateral, executing go-to-market strategies and communicating with senior management and agency stakeholders on a regular basis. Candidates must have exceptional storytelling and presentation skills along with a keen ability to translate complexity into clear concepts.

Ideal candidates are equally comfortable digging “into the weeds” or tailoring messages to a 50,000ft overview based on the audience. They face different challenges every day with a “figure it out” mentality to thrive amidst ambiguity.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Develop deep expertise in set of products to confidently articulate core value propositions, functionality, and benefits to audiences of varied levels Lead training and enablement activities to onboard new users, explain nuanced functionality and drive continued adoption Evangelize products, solutions and best practices serving as a key ambassador for technology capabilities within Publicis Media Maintain robust suite of product content including presentations, user guides, videos, FAQs and related collateral Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, support, program management) to make strategic recommendations on marketing-related activities Work amidst ambiguity to translate technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand messaging and storytelling to enable other teams Distill user feedback and provide actionable recommendations on positioning, messaging, and product development to inform ongoing planning Research industry and competitive landscape synthesizing insights to inform product positioning and wider organization Manage deliverables across simultaneous projects with many moving parts

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3-5 years of experience in product marketing or similar role Demonstrated track record of success working with highly technical or complex products as a trusted partner to product teams Experience developing packaging and positioning for data and reporting products, including dashboards and/or data science applications Strong understanding of analytics and data storytelling to bring concepts to life Proven ability to participate in and influence cross-functional teams Exceptional written and verbal skills with meticulous attention to detail Outstanding communication skills, and in particular the ability to convert complex ideas and quantitative data into simple messages Critical thinking and analytical mindset Willingness to learn and grow every day

You’ll Stand Out with: Background in data, reporting, analytics or statistics Technology or SaaS product marketing experience Advertising or media industry experience Knowledge of Tableau, SQL and data visualization tools Pragmatic Institute or Product Marketing Alliance certification Creative flair to bring fresh ideas into day-to-day work (bonus points for top-notch PowerPoint skills and video talents)
