We are looking for a React Developer with the following skills for a leading Financial client in NYC. Full Stack Developer –

Seeking strong, principled full stack developer to work on an Agile development team responsible for building out the Equity Derivatives trading and execution platform, utilized by front office Trading & Sales globally. Ideal candidate will possess an engineering mindset, enthusiasm for continuous learning, and demonstrated success on agile teams with frequent software delivery. Key responsibilities

i. Build out the trading & execution platform for equity derivatives out of NYC using React & Scala.ii. Actively contribute to all-round day to day development, participating in all facets of design, development, and planningiii. Help design and architect platform with a strong focus for code quality & clarity as well as robustness/scalability from a performance perspectiveiv. Pair program effectively with different members on work itemsv. Advocate & help adoption of newer technologies & practices that can boost productivity for team and end users. Required Skills & Relevant Experiencevi. Exceptional problem solving & analytical skillsvii. Back-end service development using Scala (or Java/Kotlin)viii. Front end web development using React.ix. Test-first coding experience with TDD/BDD frameworksx. CI/CD experience Desirable Skillsxi. Cloud based Micro services developmentxii. Functional programming experience.xiii. Messaging middleware (Active MQ, Kafka), Stream processing (Rx, Akka, Kafka)xiv. Experience with SQL/NoSQL Dbsxv. UX design experience. Education/ExperienceØ Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer science or EngineeringØ Minimum 5-7 years of application development using above skills.
