A New York City retail company has a Remote opportunity awaiting a new Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer. In this role, the Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer (Remote) will be responsible for participating in ecommerce implementations, utilizing Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and providing technical leadership & expertise to software design, development, and integration.
Responsibilities: The Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer (Remote) will:- Provide oversight for System Integrator teams involved in site development activities
- Work with internal and external project teams to help define, build, and support ecommerce websites that work seamlessly across different devices and browsers
- Participate in software design, development, and implementation using Salesforce Commerce Cloud
- Write and review technical specifications
- Provide advanced-level development and documentation skills
- Provide strong debugging skills at all levels, including unit, system, integration and performance testing
- Assist with the estimation of development tasks
- Leverage creative problem-solving skills to help bring projects in below budget and within deadlines
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing technology solutions
- Provide suggestions and recommendations to keep internal coding standards up to date; help to identify areas for efficiency across disciplines
- Focus heavily on performance to ensure a fast-loading user experience
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with architectural best practices
- Salesforce Certified Commerce Cloud Digital Developer with multiple Website implementations/integrations
- 5+ years' experience as an SFCC Developer and lead on several SFCC-based development projects
- Experience with SFRA
- Well-versed with web technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript and understand the value of a strong relationship between front and backend development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (both server and client side)
- Experience working in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to final delivery and support
- Solid understanding of basic ecommerce concepts, such as catalog architecture, pricing and inventory management strategies, payment processors, and technologies that support a successful ecommerce strategy such as PIM, OMS, and ERP
- Experience with supporting and/or implementing public-facing ecommerce websites
- Strong understanding of RESTful, SOAP API technologies
- Proficient in managing multiple concurrent projects
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention o detail
- Highly organized
