Applications Developer, Software Engineer (C#.NET)

Our client, a leading independent investment firm specializing in high yield bonds, leveraged loans, private lending, CLOs, distressed and performing credit investments, is looking to hire a talented C# .NET Developer with Credit experience to work full-time in Midtown Manhattan (remote during COVID-19).This is a mid-size firm with numerous offices both domestically and internationally ($30+ Billion in AUM).In this role, you will be part of the Application Development Group, designing and coding functional programs and applications. You will work as part of a team supporting Investment, Trading and Research activities. Knowledge of fixed income math and ability to analyze data is critical. The goal is to write clean and flawless code to produce fully functional software applications according to business requirements.You will also potentially have the opportunity to work with CLO Analytics and Portfolio Management support teams (any prior experience with CLO is bonus points!).

• Collaborate with a team of IT and Investment professionals to set specifications for new applications
• Write high quality source code to program complete applications with deadlines
• Perform unit and integration testing before launch
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Evaluate Existing applications to reprogram and update and add new features

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in quantitative discipline (Computer Science or Engineering) with strong GPA
• 5+ years of application development experience
• 3+ years of recent experience designing and building applications with experience in Fixed Income Credit space
• Knowledgeable in relational database design and construction, including SQL/transact SQL and stored procedures
• 1+ year of experience designing and building applications with experience in CLO Analytics (BONUS POINTS!)
• Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work and follow through on tight deadlines in fast paced environment

• Required: Expert knowledge of C#, SQL Server/Sybase, Intex libraries
• Pluses: Experience with AWS, Testing automation frameworks, Microsoft Excel, VBA, Python, React
